Chamomile Aromatic Care - Chamomile is one of the most useful herbs in the beauty world because of its anti-inflammatory and anti-irritating properties. The name comes from the greek kamai (ground) and melon (apple) because if you tread on chamomile, it has an aroma similar to garden apples. It helps calm skin conditions where there is itching and irritation, and it is also mentally comforting, which may help those suffering from stress related skin problems.

- It combines well with bergamot, geranium and lavender

Are your feet sore after a busy day? Try soaking your feet in a chamomile foot soak.
Chamomile Foot Soak
- 1 tbls epsom salt
- 1 tbls baking soda
- 3 drops chamomile oil or a chamomile tea bag
Chamomile Foot Soak with Eucalyptus Oil
- 1 tbls epsom salt
- 1 tbls baking soda
- 3 drops of eucalyptus oil and one chamomile tea bag
- Rose petals
Fill a foot bath or large bowl with warm water adding the above ingredient and gently mixing together. If you are using a tea bag, simply place into the water and let the chamomile seep out. Sprinkle the rose petals on top of the water. The only thing left to do now is add your feet and relax in your chamomile foot soak.

and any other beauty product you can think of. If you have a baby who fights sleep and would rather stay awake being very grumpy and making you just as grumpy, then try a drop of soothing chamomile on your child’s bed clothes.
Gentle Chamomile Aromatic Care Recipes
Honey Bath Salts
- 1 1/2 cups of Epsom Salts
- 1/3 cup of honey runny (honey)
- 2 drops of yellow food colouring
- 3 drops chamomile essential oil
Take the salts and place them in a bowl with the honey. Stir them together very well. It will seem a little sticky. Add your two drops of yellow food colouring to the essential oil. Take the oil and colour mixture and stir it into the salts.
Moon Massage Oil
- 10 tsp wheat germ oil
- 6 drops camomile oil
- 4 drops neroli oil
- 2 drops rose oil
- 1 drop basil oil
Blend ingredients well. Pour into a small dark glass bottle and seal well. Warm up oil before doing any massage.
Chamomile Steaming Face Cleanser
- 2 chamomile essential oil
- Very hot steaming water
Mix oil into the steaming water in a heatproof bowl. Hold face 10 inches from water for 8 minutes.

Chamomile Cream Cleanser
Excellent for dry, sensitive and mature skin
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 drops essential chamomile oil
Heat all the ingredients in a pan until warm, mixing all the time. Do not let the milk curdle. Pour into a storage jar and allow to cool. Apply with cotton balls to the face.
