Chocolate Bath Recipe

chocolate bath recipe

How much do you love chocolate?

Chocolate Bath Recipe - Is one of your fantasies to sink into a warm chocolate bath and lose yourself in the sweet aroma of delicious chocolate? You need not be dreaming to experience this. A chocolate bath is easy to make and much easier to indulge in. It’s that little bit special, not only to your body but to your inner peace also.

Chocolate protects the skin by breaking down free radicals and has anti-ageing, anti-oxidant properties. It’s packed full of magnesium which is a stimulant for progesterone, a hormone which drops each month making premenstrual women anxious, grumpy and causing many breakouts in the skin. Magnesium is ideal for controlling hormone breakouts. Soaking in a bath of chocolate may help pre menstrual tension.

Honey is brimming over with natural antioxidants which play a vital role in protecting the skin from ageing prematurely and from the damaging rays of the sun.

Coconut milk promotes beautiful skin by protecting against free radical damage that causes ageing.

Chocolate Bath Recipe

Death by chocolate might sound fabulous to some - but it's not advisable to drink the bath-water!

  • 1 cup of drinking chocolate powder
  • 2 cups of coconut milk (if you can’t buy coconut milk use soya milk or cows' milk instead)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
Place the above ingredients into a blender for two minutes. Pour the mixture into a warm bath. Make your bath extra special by lighting a few candles, playing some of your favourite music and pouring yourself a glass of wine. Relax and enjoy.
