Coconut Oil Hair Treatment Coconut oil hair treatment acts by lubricating and softening the hair shaft giving beautiful result of healthy, soft and shinny hair.
Coconut is one of my favourite beauty products and it’s versatile. You can spread it on a piece of bread or your can spread it over your skin. Put on your face, in your bath, use it as a body lotion, use it as a hair conditioner or even cook with it. For larger ladies who suffer from fungus in the folds of your skin it will soothe and heal. It’s fantastic benefits can be felt in the body inside out.
DandruffAs an anti dandruff remedy it's better than anything you could ever find on the High Street.
Heat a 2 or 3 tablespoons of
coconut
oil until its warm, this can be done in the microwave leaving for just a few seconds. Apply the hot oil to your hair before shampooing making sure that you cover your scalp and hair shafts. Leave for at least one hour to allow the coconut oil to soak into your skin and hair before shampooing as normal.
ConditionerCoconut oil hair treatment can be used as a conditioner especially for dry, damaged or coloured hair.
Before treatment give your hair one shampoo and rinse.
It depends how long your hair is to how much oil you will require. Start with 2 or 3 tablespoons of
coconut
oil and warm more if you need. Warm some oil by leaving in the microwave for a few seconds and apply to your hair finish off by combing through just to make sure that every strand is covered. Now wrap your hair and head in a towel (a hot towel fresh from a heater is best) and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse off with a second shampoo and rinse.
