	Coffee Face Mask I have had a long love-affair with a cup of coffee ! It's never let me down although I have been made to feel guilty on occasions about my relationship with it. Now I can make a coffee face mask without feeling the guilt and still enjoy the pleasure. Why is a coffee face mask good for your skin ? 1. It's rich in anti-oxidants which helps repair damaged cells and helps prevent skin ageing quickly. 2. It's a diuretic which helps removal of fluids and toxins from the skin. 3. It helps narrow any surface veins and capillaries on the surface of your skin, making them less obvious. 4. There is some evidence to suggest that there may be a link between preventing or delaying skin cancer with caffeine. Cocoa butter is also used in this recipe because of its excellent moisturizing qualities. This face mask is particulary good for dry, sensitive and mature skin but will benefit any skin type Coffee Facial Mask 4tbsp of cocoa butter 2tsp coffee 30g of natural yogurt Melt the cocoa butter in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water When the cocoa butter is melted, stir in the coffee and yogurt Allow to cool so that it is warm to the skin Apply all over face and neck area. It is best not to cover your eyes' area with mixture as the skin around the eyes is very thin and coffee may be too strong a diuretic for them.
