Deep Hair Conditioner for Sun Damaged Hair

deep hair conditioner

Deep hair conditioner for sun damaged hair - You spent a few days in the sun and you are feeling great and soooooooooo relaxed. That is until you take a look in the mirror and glance at the frizz ball on top of your head where your hair used to be!

"Ok," you think, “I can deal with that as soon as I get in to town to buy a conditioner at the supermarket." But stop ! Why are you going to buy a conditioner when everything you need is in your kitchen cupboard to give you a fantastic hair conditioner ?

All you need is : 1 banana for moisture, a tablespoon of honey for healing, olive oil for deep moisturising and de-tangling, and a few drops of lavender and chamomile to soothe. What more could hair ask for ?

Sun Damaged Hair Conditioner - a lovely conditioner which leaves your hair soft and easy to manage. Massage into scalp and then wrap a towel around your head and leave for at least 20 minutes. Shampoo as normal.

Grandma's Egg Conditioner

This is an old fashioned remedy that your grandmothers would have used. This is also a great recipe to use on sun damaged hair. Your grandmothers used it because it gave their hair such a wonderful shine.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 plain yogurt
  • 1tbl olive oil
Mix the above ingredients together in a bowl before massaging this deep hair conditioner into your scalp. Because this is a messy mixture, hang your head and hair over a sink. Comb the mixture through so that it covers every strand of hair. Now wrap your head in a towel and leave for at least 20 minutes, before shampooing out your deep hair conditioner with warm water. When shampooing the water must not be hot, as you don’t want to start cooking the egg.

It's not just your hair that can suffer at the hands of the sun your skin can benefit from a face mask.
