Our Epsom Salt Recipes Are A Great Way To Relax And Unwind

Our Epsom Salt Recipes are a great way to relax and unwind. There is nothing I enjoy more than relaxing in a warm bath in the evening using Epson salt. The warm water heats your body, soothing away aches and pains. It's more than just relaxing though, it's a bit of "me time" when you can indulge in your own thoughts, a time when often the best ideas for my web-site are formed. When I have been on my feet all day and my legs ache, my favourite bath is an Epsom salt bath. Sooooo soothing for aching legs and backs.

Other great times to use an Epson salt recipe are:
  • Relief from backache in pregnancy and childbirth
  • Relaxes aches and pains after sports training
  • Relieve aches and pains from arthritis
  • You just want to relax
Benefits of Epson Salt

Magnesium sulphate is one of the most important minerals in our body and Epsom salt is full of this little wonder. Enzymes play a vital role in our body's functions, and magnesium plays an important role in supporting around 325 of those enzymes. Scientists now state that a lack of magnesium can account for some heart diseases and strokes.

Epsom salt contains magnesium sulphate which is readily absorbed into the blood stream. Relaxing in a bath full of the salts can soothe your nerves, relax your muscles and can also help to reduce swellings.

One of the reasons this is such a relaxing bath is that magnesium sulphate helps the body produce serotonin which is a mood lifter, creating a wonderful feeling of well being and relaxation.

So what are you waiting for, go and indulge yourself in one of our Epsom salt recipes!
