Facial Skin Toner

toner

Facial skin toner - It doesn’t matter if you cleanse with a cream cleanser, a gel or even soap - you should always tone afterwards. A facial skin toner removes every last trace of cleanser and prevents pores from blocking and causing blemishes. You may have heard people say that by toning you are closing the pores, however this is not the case. Once a pore is open with an abundance of sebum there is nothing that can close it, not even toner. Toner may irritate the skin slightly and therefore the pore may close for a limited time. However it's not a good idea to cause anything which may irritate the skin. A toner should gently cleanse residue away, leaving the skin soft and supple.

Making your own toner is so easy and you will know exactly what ingredients are included.

After cleansing take a cotton wool pad soaked in toner and gently wipe over your entire face and neck area.

If you have oily skin, gently cleanse your skin with toner 2-3 times during the day. This will not only keep sebum at bay but will also help keep pores unblocked by cleansing dirt and grim away.
