Foods To Eat For Rosacea
Foods To Eat For Rosacea
Although we know some foods to eat for rosacea and some trigger foods to be avoided, unfortunately we don’t know the underlying cause.
This skin condition affects people between the ages of
30-55 years and
affects men as much as women. It can start with a simple blushing attack and can, but not always, progress to permanent redness on the face, looking a bit like
acne with small thread veins.
Because there is no cure for rosacea you can only try and keep the condition at bay. Here we have tried to give you a few helpful suggestions on diet.
It might also be helpful to take a look at our
skin care page on rosacea.
Certain foods trigger this skin condition but one food might be a trigger to one person and not another. It’s a good idea to
eliminate food from your diet for at least two weeks if you are at all suspicious. If you are suspicious of more than one food product then you should only eliminate one at a time. Take a note of how your skin is
after two weeks and then re-introduce the food product and see what happens.
