How do I get rid of blackheads
It’s a common myth that blackheads are the result of modern dirt, grim and pollution. A blackhead is none of these. The blackhead we see is simply the result of a chemical reaction when excess sebum blocks the pores and is then mixed with oxygen and melanin pigment from dead skin cells, causing it to blacken. Many women including some beauty therapists like to treat blackheads by squeezing them, which can be a very effective way to remove the blackhead. This treatment is not recommended as you can cause infection, inflammation or even permanent damage to the skin, making the condition much worse than it already is. So how can we help to get rid of our blackheads?Skin Care Plan to help get rid of blackheads :
2. Tone after cleansing to remove excess cleanser. 3. Exfoliate at least once a week to remove dead cells which may clog and block your pores. 4. Tone your skin after exfoliation to remove any residue. 5. Steam cleanse twice a week using a few drops of lemon, lavender or tea tree 6. Tone your skin again after steaming to remove any dislodged dirt and dead cells. 7. Use a face mask once a week, giving your skin a really deep cleanse by removing the daily build up of dirt and pollution which may clog and block your pores. 8. Dab a treatment oil or cream, such as tea tree or lavender, onto any spots or pimples you have. 9. Tone again after using a mask to remove any mask residue. 10. Use a good moisturiser, one which contains a sunblock.
