Homemade Facial Masks

homemade beauty recipes

Homemade facial masks are a wonderful way to deep cleanse your skin so that it is soft and silky to touch and positively glowing with freshness to look at.

We try to eat healthily, avoiding (most of the time) things which are not good for us, such as chocolate, chips and cream. But how often do we stop to think about what we are putting onto our skin? One might know that a moisturiser has, for instance, neroli or lavender and possibly a sun factor included, but how many chemicals does in contain? Sometimes it's impossible to know what's in a moisturiser unless you are a qualified pharmacist who understands the fancy latin sounding names on the back of the cosmetic jar. However if you make your own facial masks you will know what's included. They are every bit as good, if not much better, than the very best salon mask.

Before applying your homemade facial masks make sure you give yourself a deep cleansing with a facial steam to open the pores up. Now you are ready to relax, remember to leave your mask on for at least 15 - 20 minutes.
