Homemade Moisturizer

Bring your Skin to Life with Homemade Moisturizer
The skin thrives on moisture. Without it, skin becomes dull and lifeless and is quick to show signs of aging and the ill effects of weather and sun exposure.

Keeping the skin hydrated will keep it looking healthy and younger and should be the foundation of any skin care regimen regardless of your age or type of skin. In addition to drinking plenty of water, using a moisturizer several times a day can help counteract the drying affects that can be particularly troublesome during the cold months or if you spend long hours in air conditioned buildings. You might also want to consider placing a humidifier in your bedroom at night or your office by day to help keep your skin looking its best.

Moisturizers help hold the natural moisture in your skin. They protect your skin from the drying effects of the environment and create a barrier to dirt and chemicals. There are so many terrific recipes for homemade moisturizers that will not only save you money but will allow you to create a perfect combination of ingredients for your skin. The fact that they contain only natural ingredients means that they are chemical free and perfect for all types of skin.
