This is an easy recipe of homemade sunscreen. The Zinc is about 20% so you get an SPF around 20.
2 tsp Zinc
1 tsp shea butter
2 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp beeswax
1 tsp liquid lecithin
1 tsp vit E oil
Melt the beeswax with the shea butter in a boiler. When melted completed add the coconut, lecithin, vit E and last the Zinc. The zinc will make the recipe almost white and creamy. Stir very well. When it's still warm and creamy put it in a small container with tight lid, this batch is about 30ml. Shake for about...20 minutes to make sure everything is dispersed completely. Leave to set and use the next day. It will leave a white cast but it will disappear after few minutes.
Since it does not contain water it's not necessary to keep it in the refrigerator.
