Perfume is very easy to make, but before you start, invest in a small attractive empty glass bottle that can be used for your own home-made perfume.

For basic perfume you will need :

• 100ml vodka
• 10 drops rose essential oil
• 10 drops geranium essential oil
• 50 drops bergamot essential oil

Place all the ingredients into a glass bottle and mix gently. Leave for at least one week before filtering with coffee filter paper until the liquid is clear. Store in a small glass bottle. Will last for about one month.

For a perfume which will last longer :

Place all the above ingredients into a glass bottle and mix gently. At the same time place in another glass bottle 5ml orris root with 30ml of vodka and shake vigorously. Leave both mixtures for 48 hours, after which both mixtures should be mixed together and left for one week. After one week strain the mixture using coffee filter paper until scent runs clear.
