Raw Food Weight Loss - What’s a raw food diet ? Simple, it’s a diet which is made up of raw food. You are not allowed to eat anything which has been cooked or processed. This, of course, counts out most supermarket foods except ones which can be found in the fruit and vegetable aisle.

Why would you want to eat nothing but raw food? When we cook food we kill important and sometimes vital enzymes which your body requires. Cooked foods are dead foods! By eating raw food we are able to give our bodies these life giving enzymes and therefore giving us a great deal more energy, vitality and health.

People who eat the raw food diet or have been on the raw food diet say that their health improves, their skin improves, energy levels go up, they have less digestion problems and finally they lose weight. Weight loss is a nice natural side effect of this diet as the foods on a raw food diet tend to be low in calories and fat. One man actually stated the longer he was on the raw food diet the less he wanted and was able to eat. Put it another way he could eat as much as he wanted without putting on weight. It is possible that if you are on this diet for a while you may have the problem of losing too much weight.
