salt scrub recipe

Salt Scrub Recipe - There are many expensive products in our stores claiming they can exfoliate your skin better than any other product. Yet one of the very best is simple salt.

A salt scrub has many benefits:

  • Sloughs away dead skin cells
  • Cleans pores helping reduce blackheads
  • Stimulates the skin which in turn improves circulation getting rid of toxins and waste products (great for cellulite)
Although salt can be used as a body scrub by itself by adding oil such as olive or sesame oil it's easier to work with and nourishing leaving your skin wonderfully silky soft.

Why use our salt scrub recipe

By exfoliating you are removing dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin. These dead skin cells would fall off anyway. By giving them a helping hand you are allowing your skin to look and feel it's best.

Exfoliating gives healthy skin a chance to shines through the dead life less mask that it's hidden behind.

Exfoliate once or twice a week but don't overdue it, we don't want to see bone (only joking).

If you are going to have a spray tan or even going on holiday and anticipate a sun tan then by exfoliating first you are allowing your skin to enjoy a smooth all over tan which is not patchy as you sometimes see.

By exfoliating you are stimulating the blood supply to the top layers of the skin which in turn gives you a healthy glow.

Great for helping get rid of cellulite and blackheads
