Strawberry Face Mask - Mmmm � yum, strawberries and cream are a great favourite. The mere thought provokes images of sunny days sitting outside breathing in fresh air with a warm sun on your back. It also reminds me of tennis and Wimbledon, where strawberries and cream have been a great delicacy for years.

So why would we want to put strawberries and cream on our face when they are so nice to eat? What a waste, you might be thinking!

STRAWBERRIES are rich in alpha hyroxy. Alpha hyroxy is a natural exfoliate found in fruit and cream, which works by unblocking the pores and easing away dead skin cells on the epidermis. You have to be careful when using alphy hyroxy if your skin is sensitive as it can lead to irritation. Never go outside without a sun cream on as it can make your skin sun sensitive and burn very easily.

CREAM is a perfect skin softener, great for normal, dry or mature skin. If you have oily skin try using a whipped egg white instead of cream.

HONEY has so many benefits which is why it is used in many beauty products. Powerful healing and anti-inflammatory properties make this ideal for anyone with spots, blemishes or even acne. Honey can be used on its own. Try spreading a little straight onto your face and leave it for at least 15 minutes if not longer.

Strawberry Face Mask

5 tablespoons of thick cream or 1 large egg white
3 strawberries
1 teaspoon of honey

Step 1. In a bowl, whip the cream or the egg white until it stands up in peaks

Step 2. In another bowl, mash the strawberries to a pulp

Step 3. Mix both the cream, strawberries and honey together

Step 4. Using immediately, spread a thin layer over your entire face, neck and shoulder area.

Step 5. Relax and leave the mask on for at least 20 - 30 minutes.
