All about the benefits of vitamin E cream in our homemade recipe

A guide to the benefits of vitamin E cream - you can try one of the world's best kept beauty secrets with our homemade recipe.

As we grow older, fine lines and wrinkles begin to appear and then your skin becomes a little leathery losing its youthful appearance. A good vitamin E cream can help prevent the signs of aging and even diminish wrinkles and lines which have already appeared.

Premature ageing can be caused by exposure to the sun or sun beds, smoking, and an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. Vitamin E helps your skin because it is a natural antioxidant which helps fight free radicals that damage the skin which cause it to age. Free radicals are a natural aging process that we cannot stop but we can slow them down a little.

So what does a good vitamin E cream do?
The antioxidants have a powerful effect on fighting free radicals but it doesn't just stop there. Vitamin E helps the skin to retain moisture and helps produce new cells as well as increasing oxygen to existing ones. If Vitamin E is used along with Selenium then it will help to fight infection (this useful for acne).

As well as applying a vitamin E cream you should eat foods which are rich in the vitamin : foods such as nuts, seed, wheat germ and vegetable oils. If you prefer you can take a supplement but consult your doctor first especially is you have high blood pressure. Some women swear by a capsule of vitamin E instead of a vitamin E cream.

Opening a capsule is a very easy treatment. Apply the contents of the capsule to your face and neck area once a day before putting on your moisturiser. Yes, you will still need a moisturiser as it protects your skin against weather and pollution.
