Wrinkles Around the Mouth

Wrinkles around the mouth are one of the sure signs of aging, and can be helped with several different methods.

Prevention

Prevention is far better than cure with wrinkles such as these, and the method you use will often depend on your budget. There are plenty of different home remedies that can help with the wrinkles, and make them become less visible. Although this type of wrinkle was once thought as simply part of the aging process today women want to look younger for longer.

Treatment

Finding the ideal treatment that suits the type of wrinkles you have, with your lifestyle and budget is essential. There are several things you can do at home to help the wrinkles around the mouth from appearing at all. Smoking, alcohol and a bad diet are all proven to cause your skin to wrinkle far quicker. Also prolonged exposure to the sun can also cause wrinkles to appear worse than they are. Tiredness also plays a huge part in the degree of wrinkles that you will have.

Healthy Lifestyle

Overall leading a healthy lifestyle will not only benefit your body but also your wrinkles. Daily facial exercises can also help wrinkles, and will help to stretch the muscles in that area. Simply performing over exaggerated letters for five seconds at a time, and repeating ten times can help your face to feel fresher and stretched. Although this will not give you an instant improvement over time you will begin to see the difference.
The wrinkles around the mouth will be less noticeable, and you will begin to look younger. Using all of the muscles around your mouth will increase the oxygen, and help the wrinkles to diminish. Staying hydrated is also very important as this will stop the skin drying out around the problem areas. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables that are high in antioxidants are also great for your skin. Using a great moisturizer is also very important as this can help to massage the area as well as softening the skin.

Creams

Wrinkle creams are ideal for wrinkles around the mouth, and can be applied twice a day to improve their look. Choosing the right wrinkle cream is essential, and it can help your skin to remain elasticity. Although Botox is an option it should be considered as a last resort as these products simply freeze the muscles, and do nothing to improve them. This procedure can be effective and help the wrinkles around the mouth, however, there can be side effects, and Botox can be painful. If possible you should try to help the wrinkles with natural products and home remedies.

Botox

Botox is a great quick fix method, but it will not cure the problem, and when you stop taking the Botox there could be an even bigger problem. With simple steps throughout your life you will be able to reduce the risk of wrinkles everywhere on your face. They can begin to make you look older, and if left can knock your self confidence. If you can lead a healthier lifestyle, and perform daily exercises to your face you will reduce the risk of wrinkles around the mouth appearing. If you can stop them appearing this is far better than trying to get rid of them once they are there.
